Research into editing and technique

 Editing is the final subject to consider. 


The relationship between shots and the method used to integrate them is referred to as editing. It is necessary for establishing both narrative time and narrative space. There may be a graphic, rhythmic, spatial, or temporal connection between shots. 


The Kuleshov effect is a film editing technique that explores the mental phenomenon of how viewers can extract more meaning from the interaction of two connected shots than from a single static Cutting power can highlight contrast (juxtaposing). Simply said, it shouldn't contradict diegesis (the logic of the film) 


FPS 


To the human eye, film and video seem to play as one continuous recording. But in actuality, cameras record pictures of multiple images, called frame Cinema standard is 24 FPS.


 Exposure 


The exposure triangle. There is no single camera setting for exposure. Instead, exposure is made up of three different data settings known as the exposure triangle. Those settings are shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. 


Shutter speed 


Shutter speed is the amount of time that the


camera’s shutter is open, and measures the length of exposure. Modern camera shutter speeds are measured in fractions of a second. Common shutter speeds for daylight pictures range from 1/1000 to 1/200 of a second. Appropriate shutter speeds vary depending on lighting conditions.
